Haha. For family and friends. That someone else was taking something other than paracetamol -- where can you buy 1000x 500mg paracetamol tablets for $USD15.00 anywhere in Australia??? The cheapest I could find online was some brand I'd never heard of for $3/100 caps = $30.00.

Customs + quarantine are reasonable people ... if it's for personal use, they won't generally have an issue. Just declare anything you have - often it takes less time than the "nothing to declare line" anyway.
And there's no "nothing to declare" line at SYD any more anyway. It seems that if you declare
