Yes, SQ releases 747 seats to UA if they are the old spacebed.

Assuming you are talking about the spacebed and wanting to compare seats only (not service, food, lounges, etc.) here is my assessment.
SQ spacebed > old UA lounger
New UA flatbed > SQ spacebed

I recommend you do a search on this forum and read up on both. There is a lot of information here.
