I am not so familiar with all these booking classes, but I do know that in order to apply a SWU one needs to book at least into W and those fares are always/mostly higher than "regular" fares. So I am a bit surprised. Are there "different" W fares for International and/or domestic? I don't want to look at a big fat "0" when we fly the occasional trip to the U.S. and want to apply SWUs.
That shouldn't surprise you. Asian programs are notoriously stingy, I recall booking a friend on UA in Q and that only earned 50 or 70% of miles in his program.
