If I had money and wanted the very best care, Japan would be close and preferable choice for many Chinese. Chinese are super health conscious and go into tremendous debt to get the best doctor care.
There is a rapidly growing wealthy class in China and if this attracts these types of people, this will prove to be a profitable marketing plan.
For people in northern China, wouldn't South Korea be more convenient, cheaper, and with just as good care? For southern China, I know of people crossing over into Hong Kong or flying to Singapore for medical/dental treatments.
I imagine Taiwan would also become more popular, due to language. It's nice to understand the more complex explanations the doctor is saying without losing anything to translation.
