I completely understand why, but do you realize IL6 is a completely different type? IL6 is more like B737 (narrow body mid-range), while IL9 is rather like B767 (widebody longhaul).
I did not know SU operated IL6 transatlantic. Was it one of the infamous flights via SNN?
