Depends on your departing gate in Terminal A, how fast you can walk, and if the terminal is busy. If you are departing from gates A1-A20 or A64-A78, I would probably recommend taking the train. If not, and the terminal is reasonably quiet, I usually find it quicker to walk/take the people movers to get to intermediate gates.
