On the last evening of this promotion I made a couple of bookings to take advantage of this nice plump double SC offer. To allow me to change things more easily I decided to do 1 way JASA fares to NZ & home again.

Close look at the emailed PDF documents tell me that while the outgoing fares are from the Australian QF web site & dated 21st Dec, the returns are from the NZ site & dated 22nd. By 4 minutes. AHHHHHH!!!

Got the email confirmations on the 21st. But, I'm guessing that official booking time is the country that the booking is done from, & in this case NZ???

Any precedents from past offers?
There's a lesson in this. As always. Message to self: think about local time zones & get organised before dinner.
