There are many other shuttle services, besides Bell Trans. They all charge the same rate + or - $0.50, hence a ride from the airport to a strip casino is about $6.50 OW. A taxi would run about $13.00 + $2.00 (airport to casino surcharge) + tip.
Depending on the time of day, the wait times for taxis can be huge. (ditto for casino to airport).
If one is on a super tight budget, the CAT bus system can be both cost and time effective. [I've waited over 30 minutes for a shuttle bus to depart (they wait to fill up) and then been shuttled around for another 30 minutes.]
