I'm with you on the dog thing! My gorgeous dog, who I love to pieces, is well aware that there is an invisible line at the bedroom door which he is not allowed to cross, whether the door is left open or not. When he is in a naughty mood he pokes his nose over the threshold and looks guilty!

He also has his feet cleaned when he comes back from his walks, and people take their shoes off at the front door!
