I was just musing over the economics of such an operation - if we assume that most airports make money, and the economics of an airport could generally be improved if everything was streamlined to one airline's operations (a la T5), wouldn't that make some sort of financial sense?

Oh, and then the airline couldn't shift responsibility for closed runways to the 3rd party owners
then you can maximize your resources by renting out slots to other airlines then u'd be back to square 1, someone would be bound to blame you when sth screwed up
