Are you sure?! You fly HKG-JFK a lot if I'm not mistaken? CX used to fly them between HKG and JFK definitely when I started with MPC in 2007, and maybe even as recently as early 2008. They had three of them leased, and they gave them all back I think when that lease came up.
They used to fly A340-600's to JFK untill they got their 77W's, and at the end all A346's went to Hainan Airlines.
