Thanks for the responses guys. I understand EQM is a different schematics for calculating miles and expires at the end of the year so I'm not looking at that.

I'm actually aiming for San Francisco - Singapore for Business class. I have heard that SQ is pretty protective of their business seating, but if I do have a chance I'd like to find out. Date of departure is around late April/early may 2011.

Also I heard that you need to try find flights using United first, and if it's not available, they will give you options to get flights with other *A partners. Some has said that I can just call SQ and book through them. Which one is true?
