That is of course a real risk. The geek in me wants a more secure and efficient mehod. Maybe a PKI certificate which is valid one year at a time, you must sign your e-mail with this and send to a special silver/gold e-mail alias. PKI cert is available on EC member area. All mail without a valid signature are automatically bounced back.
