I´m pretty familiar with Germany, but am currently abroad and planning to travel to Germany over X-Mas.

So the consensus is that while all means of transporation are a mess, the train is still the most reliable option at the moment?

I´m just surprised because taking a train usually is quite a mess during the holidays without the weather, and the Bahn is encouraging people to NOT take the train during the coming days on their website due to the weather.
