BA Flight Operations - 20 December

Sorry to imitate Prospero but I thought rather than continuing on 19 Dec thread, I thought it would be tidier to start a 20 Dec thread, as the disruption continues. (My apologies if the 20 Dec thread already exists - I can't find it! - Now Squeeler has kindly pointed me to the existing 20 Dec thread - my apologies, please merge this thread.)

I'm scheduled to fly from LHR this afternoon on BA. I was able to OLCI at T-23.5 and I assigned the seat while I was on the OLCI the first time but did not PMOBP. So I still had the option to change seat. When I went back to OLCI to change my seat, I was unable to OLCI, with the message

My flight is still showing as operating, although the flight to the same destination earlier in the day has been cancelled. BA website says that only flights to mid-day today have been confirmed as operating or cancelled, so mine might still get cancelled.

Is this "no OLCI" applicable to all flights today, or are they only for specific flights? I am wondering if BA is viewing my flight as a potential cancellation candidate and therefore disabled OLCI.

Just so those who may be planning to travel today but on a budget are aware, hotels around Heathrow are getting more expensive than some London hotels. If you cannot find anything around Heathrow that's reasonable, look further towards London - some that are between Heathrow and London are still fairly reasonably priced.
