Clearly AA don't think much of their UK customers considering they provide an 800 number for the US.
A real divergence between the norms of the US and UK markets: in the US expectations for customer service go with 800 numbers. In the UK most companies expect their customers to pay. Not that 0800 numbers help UK cell phone users:
