If bought on Craigslist, I agree you'd want to be cautious. As someone mentioned above, make sure you log on to southwest.com to check the balance.

There are no policies that I am aware of against selling gift cards, in fact, there are a lot of sites out there that purchase gift cards for a percentage of the balance. Gift cards don't expire, which is a perk.

I've been tempted to sell my $500 in gift cards from Southwest, but I figure if I save them, it forces me to take vacation and enjoy them instead of just paying bills. :-)
