The front desk agent really had no information about MR or the Platinum arrival gift. There was a lot of confusion when we asked about any benefits that they would honor. We did not get the rehearsed response to our inquiries that HeadInTheClouds got.
The agent offered to send a bottle of champagne to the room. But it did not seem like he considered it a Platinum arrival gift, more like a one off to make us happy.
No champagne arrived, instead we received a split of Peju 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon. It was excellent.
