While we are on the topic .Why are the hot rates which are non refundable sometimes higher then the regular available rates on the website.This is after a year of bringing this to the attention of the website people.The original question here is a great one and it seems fairly obvious as to what the reason is for those that may think the Starwood posted web rates are all that exist. Its been going on for some time that I can remember.Its one of the reasons I have almost never booked on line.Will continue to use other avenues of booking ...............
