Had the singing FA happen on a couple of flights in the past, thought it was kind of nice.. children thought it was humorous.

First rule of travel for me and my family.. respect the people.. respect the culture. Before I became a civilian again I had travels to many different countries and had the opportunity to participate in several different "holidays" around the world at the invitation of people I served with and met. I never looked at their practices as being disrespectful or pushy.. rather a learning experience to participate in others cultures. Then again.. I am a glass half full kind of person.
