If you aren't locked into the Hilton you might also want to consider the Royal Hawaiian.

The Royal Hawaiian is much nicer than the Hilton, though, the Ali'i tower at the Hilton is very nice. What's amazing about the Royal Hawaiian is the fact that it's actually a very quiet romantic hotel on Waikiki beach .. sort of like an oasis surrounded by the madness of Waikiki. You have to see it to understand. It's a beautiful older property.
