I actually haven't had any problems making reservations through the different hotel-branded web sites. The SPG site, however, is another story.

I, too experience frequent time-outs and IE often has problems interpreting the JHTML pages as well. But I've found calling SPG much more convienient than booking award stays online, anyway.
