I have lurked on this board for some time, and have always been fascinated with the Lurker's outstanding customer service here.
As one who has *****ed before about bad hotel experiences with Starwood, I would like to take this opportunity to rave about the excellent service I just had at the Sheraton Gateway LAX.
For starters, got upgraded to the executive suite on the 15th floor. Stereo, dining room table, etc. Very nice.
My room service meal was outstanding as well - a nice ending to a somewhat dodgy day.
I can't recommend the hotel enough - of course, I was only there one night and didn't sleep in a regular room
Nice one, Starwood. Once again I am reminded why I go out of my way to stay at a participating hotel...
