Seems that when Kinnear made his announcement about having not enough money to make it to the end of the year, in order to press Ottawa to back a loan, everything started to unravel: reservations were cancelled [not sure how they could get refunds, but], edgy suppliers started demanding immediate payments, long term creditors like airports and maintenance/service companies got injunctions to sieze aircraft...
