Taking UK food to Japan

Hello,

We're flying to Japan (Narita) on Christmas Day and hoping to take some UK foods outs for my partner's son who is studing out there..

He wants

Marmite
Baked Beans
Cheese
PG Tips Tea
Hienz Tomato Ketchup

Can anyone see any problems with these items? I'm planning to put them in checked baggage. I can get them all in plastic containers so as long as I wrap them well I don't have to worry about having glass in my suitcase!

I've read this thread

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/japan...-cheese-2.html

so am reckoning cheese is ok as I'm not planning to take 10000 Yen worth!

Any help gratefully recieved
