I won't make 1-K this year. I was grateful to have the opportunity to be 1-K lite this year as a direct result of the DEQM/S promotion last year.

I knew that in September while projecting my travel for the rest of the year. I would have gone on two long MR had UA offered DEQM for this year.

I am going to end up about 53,000 miles, qualifying for 1-P, which I have been for many years. Most of my flight miles have been for leisure rather than for business.

I am grateful to have a taste of the 1-K benefit, such as the SWU for upgrade in international flights, just as few. The only regret that I have is the pending expiration of the SWUs, which I will not been able to use, just a waste of resources.
