I've never used the CX Arrival area (lounge?) before. Am I correctly in assuming that it is airside? And is there any place (like the cabanas in the Wing and the Pier in Departures) in it to lie down to relax a bit in case we feel we need it (even in view of the long flight and the chance to sleep on it) or simply because we won't want to head into Hong Kong very early?
The Arrival is landside, after bag claim and customs. Its facilities are limited to showers and some refreshments--certainly no cabanas a la Wing or Pier. If you'd like to make use of the cabanas, you'd have to go through the process described above to get to the Wing/Pier then out again.
