I've stayed at the Westin Harborside a number of times. It's what you would expect in a Westin. An efficient colorless place which isn't bad. I especially like the pianist who presides in the lobby each evening. The only problem is that it is a bit removed from any action. It's not a bad walk into town, about six city blocks. If the walk was somewhere other than Canada,it wjould be scarry since you're walking through a nondescript deserted area. It's only bad in the water when the wind kick ups, a la Michigan Avenue.

The best hotel in Toronto is the Four Seasons right off of Bloor. Bloor is the Rodeo Drive of Toronto. The Four Seasons has one of the best restaurants in town, and it's across the street from Morton's if you like that sort of thing.
