Wish I could be more optimistic; however I agree with runCMD.

My $700 leather jacket I loved (bought in Florence, Italy) was not returned to me by 1st class FA. I was on my return flight to TPA. Didn't realize I didn't have it until I was in the main terminal.

Long story short.....called lost & found probably 20 times, wrote Delta..etc. Never got it back.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
