In the clubhouse as you arrive there will be help yourself canapes, small bites, cheese and biscuits etc. Around 7 pm a full dinner buffet will be laid out, hot food will be a meat dish (lamb, or beef, or pork, or turkey I've seen) and full range of hot accompaniments, there will be salad, a vegetarian option, soup, and other bits. After the main course a dessert trolley will be wheeled around the clubhouse to your seat. Often, special appetisers are wheeled around before dinner too.
Food is generally help yourself, the clubhouse staff will be on hand to take drink requests and tidy away.
