It's been a sucky year in some ways - mostly financially but some other challenges as well - but I am strengthened and heartened by the friendship and love I have here on FT.

We did get to celebrate with a lovely lunch at Colibri Mexican Bistro thanks to a discount coupon - great food but not great service - but the people at the table next door sang happy birthday which was a great touch.

Hope as many as possible can make it to the LIH Prem do on Jan 30. Look forward to seeing many of you there.
