Docklands Riverside - great service, great food. Parking and public transport a pain. Looking forward to trying Canary Wharf and compare the two.
I would take issue with these 2. The rooms at Heathrow may be nicely decorated but they are awfully small. I consider the room size at LHR to be utterly unacceptable but otherwise it is a nice property.
The Docklands is really hit and miss with the chances of awful as well as great service. Many colleagues stay there regularly (I live and work in Canary Wharf) and I regularly here tales of woe. Very few have anything negative to say about the CW Hilton.
I would really like to try the Bentley and the Courthouse so that I have stayed in all current London properties again. The Bentley looks interesting and I may give it a whirl early next year.
To the OP of all the hotels mentioned the Trafalgar is probably the most consistent and in my opinion the best, but not everyone likes the same things. It feels a little like a W, but with reasonable sized rooms and a fabulous location. The roof terrace bar is great in summer, but it is absolutely not a conventional Hilton.
