Just got back from JFK yesterday morning 1,233 short of 1K, on 83 total flights for 2010. Since New York was my last scheduled business trip for 2010 a couple weeks ago I booked my first-ever mileage run to Seattle and back to put me over the top, this will happen tomorrow.
This morning I found that they've already granted me 1K - Woo Hoo! I don't know if I got it because they have me in the system with a booked round-trip that will put me over the top before 12/31 or because they were generous.

I hate to admit this here, but I've been under the mistaken impression that 1K would get me into the Red Carpet Club at Denver. No such luck, so my number one beef with air travel still stands - two or three hour layovers in Denver and about 4 power outlets in the entire terminal. At least I'll get to board first...

You have access to RCC (onward) if you are a 1P or higher when you travel internationally. If it is a pure domestic itinerary, then no access to RCC except P.S. service.
