It's hard to say. Shortly out of Glenwood Springs the terrain opens up, and it doesn't really make a difference. Out of Grand Junction the best view is on the left, as well as through the Ruby Canyon just later. Following that, I think you get good views of the Book Cliffs, but those are on the right.
