"Completely unacceptable"? Can't one just exercise outside for this one day? Besides, they informed about the closing in advance.

you are wrong. i asked them about the fitness classes on christmas day--- only to find out they were closed.
it's like 90 degrees with skin-searing no ozone sun outdoors. outdoor exercise is not for me under those conditions.
a resort and spa is exactly that. to have corporate deny the very title of the resort is preposterous.
to have travelers defend them is bizarre!
