b/c you often see union members backing other union members simply b/c they are union members.
I get that part; there are going to be some issues when the idiot analysts who kept buying the whole "working together" schtick start realizing they were drinking the COol aid too. CO's pilots have been pissed off at management for quite a while (see the whole "loan is due" campaign in 2008!

Fortunately for CAL ALPA and UA, and passengers, 50 seat RJ's are going to decline in prominence in the network, replaced by less frequency, but higher gauge, including mainline.
