I am planning for a trip in summer to NY and I really hate flying in the cramped economy seats for extended periods of time. So I was wondering is there a cheap way of flying business to NY, such as routing through certain cities for eg.

The price on the SQ website is like 10k SGD which is far too pricey for someone like me.

Any help would be appreciated. TIA
