That is completely unacceptable. I go away with my family every Christmas and New Years for the past 25+ years to resorts. I have never heard of a hotel closing its gym from 4 PM XMAS eve through XMAS.
I don't know how this plays into things with SPG or Starwood Corporate, but a gym is a Sheraton brand standard. Can a hotel just do that/violate rules?
