I went to a "La Gare" or so in Santa Rosa. Our food was one of the worst we ever had. My "Canard l'Orange" was tasteless and the duck was at least 10 to 20 years old, hard like a tire. The fish from my wife was also not tasty. We got the restaurant from the tourist/wine center in Rohnert Park. The guide told us: "People like La Gare, however, a recent test from the local newspaper was not that great".

We had fine food at Bistro Jantry in Yountville/Napa, at Fringale and Betelnut in SFO.
