I was in DoubleTree Hotel Sonoma Wine Country; rewards stay. It's in Rohnert Park near Santa Rosa.
It's a very nice hotel - However, not a first class hotel! - near 101 next to a golf course. The service people are very friendly.

Sonoma has some nice wineries, but I could not find a good restaurant.
Napa valley has the better wineries and restaurants. Hotels in Napa Valley are more expensive.
