Unless something has changed, Travel nut, the unit you are describing is the one I usually stay in. My last stay, the room was filthy, burned out light bulbs, curtains that didn't work and in bad need of a makeover. The hotel has great potential but given the fact that it seems to be always full with one convention or another, I guess they figure it is not necessary.
