watch out for those missing starpoints!
I have been waiting for a stay in Brussels to post from early April. Today I received a new SPG card (not Gold,which I am) with a new account number, which I initially supposed was a direct mail initiative. On checking the account on-line, I discovered, yes you guessed it, the missing points from my Brussels stay.
SPG customer service very efficiently merged the account activity and suggested that this might have been done by the hotel, who get a referral fee for every new SPG member enrolled.
So watch out for those points. Who knows how many SPG accounts you may really have!
