a bit off topic: i wanted to book a room in fraser resort pattaya, they told me they were full, i could see rooms available in all categorys by agoda, so i booked the cheapest available room, i went to the hotel, and they said oh sorry this and the next category are fully booked, so i ended up in a suite-room that was offered for twice the price. i talked to people who paid a much higher rate than i did and didnt get any upgrade. This happened twice to me in this hotel already. Sometimes i really aks myself why i should book with the hotel if i get free upgrades for a better rate when i book 3rd party.
