There will probably need to be some discussion to get my TPs from the second flight recredited (it was 2 days after the first leg) but armed with info from FT I hope that will not be too much hassle.
It will probably update fully overnight (UK time) and show your profile as Silver tomorrow, UK time, on ba.com.
I have never needed to remove, and re-apply my exec number to be able to use seat selection etc, but you may have to do that if you are unable to select seats once shown as Silver. That may require a telephone call to the exec service centre too.
