An all JAL or all CX itinerary requires only 50K miles for a round-trip economy class ticket using BA miles. Using AA miles, it is 70K for the same trip but you can mix and match airlines.
JAL is your better bet using your husband's miles. For 70k miles, AA will want to put you on AA metal to NRT and JAL you to HKG. JAL itinerary using BA miles will get you the same.
CX itinerary will route you through YVR or LAX.
