I asked Platinum Concierge for help with tickets to classical music concerts in both London and Frankfurt this year with dismal results. In both instances I was offered tickets at 4x - 6x face value, and both times I was able to secure tickets elsewhere for much less: in London I paid face value, in Frankfurt I paid 1.25x face value.
The concierge was not familiar with the venue in Frankfurt, and used Google to attempt to translate the website from German. I somehow expected that the American Express concierge would have access to specialists including (for example) native German speakers
