Actually its available on the new A330-300 aircraft which is not restricted to flights to/from USA only. They do fly to other places too, but unfortunately not to BKK. The refurbishment of the current A340-300 aircrafts are still forthcoming but they have not yet established a timeline.

I find the current seats ok. So it shouldn't be too much a bother really.
