Help? AA MR from ORD/IND 12/19-12/24, 6,100 miles
Hi All-
I'm looking for just over 6,000 miles from ORD or IND sometime before Christmas. I'm struggling to find a reasonable fare; unfortunately, 6,000 miles seems to be just out of reach for anything less than $400. I've been keeping an eye on a number of fares and they continue to climb as the end of the year nears. It seems westward is the place to start, then across the country, and back...

I'm willing to do an overnight anywhere, if needed. I don't care where I go or whether I get upgraded, I'm just looking for EQMs.

I've been keeping an eye on ORD-(DFW)-LAX-(DFW)-LGA-(DFW)-ORD (6,852), but it's just too expensive. I found some Q fares ORD-SFO-JFK-ORD using KVS, but AA wouldn't let me book them online. Going west first seems to produce cheaper results than going east first, but again, all too expensive for me and my rather meager budget.

If anyone has any ideas, I would be grateful, and am happy to share the love with mailed baked goods and/or an AA.com gift certificate!
