The fact that you had your FC BPs is irrelevant. They were in your hands not scanned at the jetway door. Although you still have not answered the question as to what "15 minutes early" you were referring, it seems clear that you arrived at the gate and/or presented yourselves for boarding at T-15. The fact that the AS GA had printed Y BP means nothing more than you weren't at the gate in time and, in accordance with AS' T&C, they released your FC seats to upgrade wait-listed pax that were at the gate on time. As a courtesy, the GA issued new Y BPs in case you eventually showed up at the gate. How did they know you weren't in the gate area at the time? Most likely because you didn't respond to the GA's "alan562, please recheck at the podium" page, when they were trying to (1) figure out where you were and (2) get the flight out on time. Live and learn, but in this case, you have no one but yourself to blame.
