I'm new to this forum. As a CO Gold, I got something with my yearly elite package stating that if I called Starwood, I would get comped to their "Preferred" status.
I called the number and within a few minutes she told me I was comped to Gold status.
I'm also a HHonors Gold and haven't stayed at a Starwood hotel in years. I wonder what benefits I'll get? Many of the Hhonors folks seem to suggest that Preferred Starwood guests have better perks.
